Domotics-Assisted Residential Care Home for the Elderly

Life expectancy is a key indicator of the social, health, and environmental conditions of a population. The progressive decline in birth rates and the increase in life expectancy have also led, in Sicily, to a gradual ageing of the population, resulting in a steady growth in care needs.

The creation of an effective, integrated system of social and personal care services for individuals and families is not only a duty in compliance with constitutionally established principles, but also a means of improving the well-being of all citizens and the quality of the services provided.

The project involves the construction of a social and healthcare facility whose adopted standards—exceeding the minimum requirements for all categories—allow it to be designated as an RSA (Residential Healthcare Facility), a residential care home for the elderly, or a care facility.
